De l’animation rurale à l’éducation environnementale La trajectoire du réseau finistérien des ULAMIR (1974-2014)

Abstract : This article explores the process through which the Rural Animation and Community Education Network in Finistère (Brittany, France) gets involved and changes to develop Environmental Education actions. The paper argues that the historical network has gradually repositioned itself as a result of a process of professionalisation. During this period, the network managed to seize environmental and sustainable development issues and to influence regional public policies. This trajectory is analysed through four models of development, successively focusing on charismatic, institutional, entrepreneurial and contractual regulation mechanisms.
