L’enfant autiste et le langage : habiter sa voix

Abstract : Due to its distinctly human dimension, the voice falls under the framework of language and its signifying structure. Based on the case of a child suffering from autistic disorders, this paper shows the opening created by the use of the voice when it is supported by a signifying structure. The child’s creations introduce her to a certain organization of the world, which structures her voice, from a simple prosody toward the use of an apparent speech.
