Apprendre à déduire le sens d'un mot à partir du contexte : effets d'un entraînement en Segpa

Abstract : This article suggests analyzing the effects of a didactic device to improve the performances in understanding of underachieving students by teaching them to use the present indications in a text to deduct the unknown meaning of a word according to the context. In this search, the pupils had to replace a non-word by an existing word by using present indications in the text. The results show a significant improvement of the performances of understanding of the pupils who benefited from this program compared with those of the not entailed pupils
