Note éternelle du présent , du sable au cristal

Abstract : Reading the group of texts consisting of tributes and reflections devoted to Art and to a few admired artists gathered under the title Note éternelle du présent shows Reverdy in the process of thwarting the expected codes. The poet plainly asserts his position as a poet, deconstructs the canonical forms of the writing on Art one by one, strives to disconcert the reader and to distance himself from Art Historians and Art Theoreticians, refuses the anecdote and description. By doing so, he is true to his anti-mimetic stands, so much so that he offers here a form of personal Poetic Art that is rich in metaphorical elements.
