L’exercice sportif : entre douleur et plaisir

Abstract : The contemporary sports practices vary between the quest of pleasure and pain into performance goal. The pain is widely valued and used as a means to achieve this performance. A comparative investigation France/Spain to youth enrolled in sports training centers, antechamber of sport high level, clarifies that legitimate pain and the ambivalence of experiences it produces. The first question of this research was the relationship of the young with doping practices. This input helped to inform the variety of their relationship to the body, and thus pain. Only a portion of the French data is presented here.
