The territory facing the agricultural reterritorialization: issues and perspectives in a context of transition
Le territoire « à l’épreuve » de la reterritorialisation agricole : enjeux et perspectives dans un contexte de transition
Résumé
In the heart of the Breton dairy basin, initiatives to reterritorialise agricultural production have been multiplying in recent years and are materialising the agroecological transition. Renewed forms of agricultural production, which are part of a critical reflection on our model of society, respond to the expectations of territorial actors as much as they question them: how can they accompany these dynamics of change towards an agro-ecological transition? Using examples such as the renovation of the bocage or the recognition of the efforts targeted to water resources protection, our survey in the Val-d'Ille-Aubigné Community of Municipalities highlights the dynamism of the initiatives, the weakness of the available toolbox for the local authorities to act and the need to preserve the autonomy of farmers in the management of the transition on their farms.
Au cœur du bassin laitier breton, les initiatives de reterritorialisation de la production agricole se multiplient ces dernières années et y matérialisent la transition agroécologique. Des formes renouvelées de production agricole, inscrites dans une réflexion critique sur notre modèle de société, répondent aux attentes des acteurs territoriaux autant qu’elles les interrogent : de quelle manière peuvent-ils accompagner ces dynamiques de changement vers une transition agroécologique ? Autour d’exemples comme la rénovation du bocage ou la reconnaissance des efforts consentis pour protéger la ressource en eau, notre enquête sur le territoire de la Communauté de communes du Val-d’Ille-Aubigné souligne le dynamisme des initiatives, la faiblesse des outils dont disposent les collectivités locales pour agir et la nécessité de préserver l’autonomie des agriculteurs dans la conduite de la transition sur leurs fermes.
